The menu is a celebration of authentic Spanish cuisine, featuring a range of dishes that reflect the rich coastal bounty of the region. Natacha's tantalizing experience highlights the freshness of the mussels—large and plump, served cold with vibrant toppings of onion, tomato, and peppers. Visitor Testimonials (1801)

A great big thank you to the chef at La Casa de la Abuela, who saw two hungry pilgrims before the normal time for lunch, and told the camarero to take their order. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the restaurant itself is an amazing place! I strongly recommend La Casa de la Abuela.

Loved the place. Very warm and welcoming. Good food; great wine selection; amazing set up; good buzz; and fab team. Would definitely visit again if around.

This place was humming with happy people when we walked by in a street hung with colourful bunting. We stopped for some quick tapas as sat at a wine barrel outside. We ordered mussels which were big and plump, served cold, with a topping of fresh chopped onion, tomato and peppers. They were fresh and tasty. It was refreshing to eat such good seafood made in this simple but artful way. I'll go back and try other dishes, but it looks like I'll have to book a table as it was so popular

Amazing family owned restaurant. They are so dedicated to make this a wonderful place and they definitely succeed. The food is beautiful and delicious. La Abuela can definitely be proud .

We arrived around 1pm on a Sunday, there was a crowd sitting outside in the sun but inside tables were empty. When we approached the entrance, one of the waiters stood at the door and I asked for a table for 2. For a moment I thought they would turn us away but luckily they didn’t. Food was really nice, especially after our long walk. From then on, service felt warmer too.

Excellent food, the Chipirones con aioli is delicious as were the mushrooms a la plancha and all the food we had I really enjoyed the tarta de nueces y arándanos y higos. Great value for money. The service was super and and the restaurant has a nice vibe. But book as it was packed for lunch .

Family run, long established and decoratively rustic, chic restaurant on the outskirts of the old town. A wide selection of local produce cooked to order that allows the team to cater for some dietary requirements. Not the cheapest eats, but then again this isn't a bar.

Family restaurant. Crazy busy. Good food. Don’t seem to speak English but have an English menu which is very kind. We got by with our Spanglish :) -1 star only because it took almost an hour from when we were seated just to get drinks. In fact they started bringing food out before drinks.we would return the food was good.
